The main issue about that week's CF gathering is to reinforce our main theme for this academic year which is “Ladder Up”.

This theme can be broken down into 3 sub-themes which are Spirituality, Sanctification and Evangelism. Besides reinforcing our theme, it was an opportunity for us to check our spiritual growth. During that session 4 questions were asked. They were :

1) Why are we Christians?

2) Why do we need to ladder up?

3) How do we ladder up?

4) When thing don’t go right for us, do we blame God? Why?

Among all this questions the 1^st is the most important. The 1^st question is basically the foundation for our faith. Without knowing this it would be difficult for us to ladder up in our Christians lives.

So, please take some time and ponder on this and find out why are you Christian as a solid foundation is important to building up our trusts in God. Amen.

AGAPE

, the word is of Greek which means platonic love for one another.

This year, the word AGAPE will be brought to life, by a number of dedicated people in the core team. There will be a fair for all to have fun, but at the same time, presenting dedications for the needy as there will be a donation box prepared and all proceeds will go to charitable bodies. At the same time, there will be a musical drama night where by audiences will watch a drama presentation just for them by talented people where by audiences will watch a drama presentation just for them by talented people to project, what AGAPE is really all about.

Last week, Annette have taught us about being real and accountability. In the activity carried out, we learn to understand the meaning of being real and opening up to others. We must not be afraid to acknowledge our weakness to others or problems we face, as we are one family, one body. We also must practice what we believe and say unto others. Thus,we must always be accountable to each other in everything we do. Our relationship will be much fruitful.Any troubles we encounter shouldn't be hidden and to be carried alone as we are meant to be a family,one body.We also must be sensitive and willing to put ourselves in others shoes (literally) as we should be our brother's keeper. =)
