The continuation

Before we come to celebrate his coming into our world,
let us reflect upon a remarkable couple that brought him into the world.

Last week we covered the topic of submission unto the will of God through the life of Mary.
This week we ask the question...

Can we Trust God?
What does it take to Trust?

As we approach the celebration of the birth of our saviour, let us reflect upon those who brought him in the first place.

You can find us at CR2044, drop by at 8pm~10pm, if you are free on Tuesday 12th December 2006.

A word from our sponsors (if there are any)

If you have missed this sem's Bible Surgeons, don't worry, classes will resume next trimester.
Look for updates here on this blogspot.

Radical Submission

.Tuesday.5thDecember2006.CR2044.8pm~10pm.

Something to cure the emo-s.

Here are somethings to give thanks for. Many thanks to those who kept Jason (Daniel Puen's friend) in prayer, who is suffering for cancer. News have it that he will be able to stop chemotherapy by January. Thank God for Jason's healing, and continue to pray for his speedy recovery from the disease, and that there won't be a reoccurance of cancer. Pray too that the doctor would do a good job.

~~~*~~~
From Su Chen (CFMMU graduate):- "Thank you for your prayers.... they made a difference! Our trip to Sarawak this year was tremendously awesome as we experienced how God moved and worked through our team and in the long houses as well as the youths in the camp. Words cant describe, i'm just in such awe of how real He was. It was amazing to see how everything fell into place, and how strong his presence was with us throughout. Sermons, testimonies, prayers & devotions all linked.... everything we did (though so unprepared) was greatly carried out by Him. Thanks once again, for your prayers... it certainly is heart warming to know there's a family back here clasping hands for us."
~~~*~~~

Prayer is the most important and integral part of our Christian walk. We want to move the hands of God to touch and change the lives of those around us. So do come by Morning Glory.

-||Every Tuesdays||720am||HB1WaterTower||-

Because we believe that prayer is a powerful gift.

In all things give thanks unto God for he is good.

The Great Comission

Are we living out the Jesus' Great Commission?
His last will for all followers to follow?

Our CF is not limited to the grounds on which it was blessed with.
But we have taken steps to step out.
Out of the boundaries of our student world.

Wanna know more of where our CF has gone?
And what we are up to next?

Drop by this Tuesday the 28th of November 2006
In FOE room CR2044
From 8pm till 10pm.

Monday, November 20, 2006

To which degree are you?

We were all the same, same language, same culture, and a common civilization.
United for a greater good.
Right up until the point when someone in a place called Babel got a little ambitious.

Thanks alot...

Since then people have tried to bridge the gaps and heal the cracks.
But not to much success.

Why hasn't our efforts work?
Do we have our own barriers in racial unity?
Got a thought?

Come,
For a time of an open discussion, and understanding

The Alternative. If you were wondering.

Its an interesting observation, how men dominate the hiearchy of religious orders, how often females are denied a voice in religious matters, and how religious scriptures downplays the role of women.

What does this mean?
Did God create women because man was bored?
Are women play second fiddle to men?
Is society chauvanistic or is God really chauvanistic?

Inter Faith Talk uncovers the views and beliefs of Buddhisim, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam on this often controvesial subject in such a climate of democratic rights.

Do come and seek clarifications (for the specific topic) from our
panel of highly qualified female speakers.
The session will be interesting, as always.

Topic : Woman in the Eyes of God

Date : 16th November 2006, Thursday

Next up on CF

We have heard what are Radicals. How to be Radicals. And the lives of Radicals in Christ themselves.

But it begs the question.

What are Radicals of our age to do?
What are the roles of Radicals in our world?

Its time for another open discussion.
Come and find out from one another the roles of Radicals in a world such as this.
And what does God want a Radical to do.

In case you weren't paying attention.

Fingerprints of God

I can see the tears filling your eyes
And I know where they're coming from
They're coming from a heart thats broken in two
By what you dont see
The person in the mirror
Doesnt look like the magazine
Oh but when I look at you its clear to me that

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

Never has there been and never again
Will there be another you
Fashioned by God's hand
And perfectly planned
To be just who you are
And what hes been creating
Since the first beat of your heart
Is a living breathing priceless work of art and

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

Just look at you
You're a wonder in the making
Oh and God's not through no
In fact Hes just getting started and

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
