Statement of Faith
Who are we?
We
are an interdenominational Christian Fellowship in Multimedia University,
Cyberjaya, commonly referred to as ‘CFMMU’ or ‘MMUCF’ or ‘CF’
What are our
aims and objectives?
- To maintain a Christian witness in campus
- To promote Christian growth among Christian undergraduates
- To encourage the development of Christian character amongst our members
What do we
believe in?
What
we believe is in the fundamental truths of Christianity, which includes:
- The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
- The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
- The divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Holy Scripture as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct
- The universal sinfulness of men since the Fall, rendering men subject to God’s wrath and condemnation
- Redemption from guilt, penalty and power of sin solely through the sacrificial death (as our Representative and Substitute) of the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God on the cross.
- The bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and the ascension to the right hand of God the Father.
- The necessity and the continual work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting him repentance towards God.
- The justification of the sinner by the grace of God through faith alone.
- The one Holy Universal Church which is the body of Christ and to which all true believers belong
- The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ
