CF # 1

CF on Tuesday was :
- colorful ;)
- peppered and spiced up with the presence of some graduates.
- newcomers were greeted with a special welcome package and a n00b's guide.
- CF comm was introduced and made to stand in a row by the wall fer a bit ;) haha.
- ministries were introduced and 'campaigns' were made.
- people filled up forms, signed up and made new friends.
- supper that night was at hassan's. ;)

Highlight items :

1) the PRAYER book is born! ;)
it's task - to record your prayer requests and answered prayers.
pen and book will be ever present in all your CF and morning prayer meetings.
Come, let's build a community that cares and prays together ;)

2) Morning PRAYER is ON as usual.
7.20am Tuesays at the water tank near the lecturer's apartments/behind HB1/near the 'UFO looking' thingie. Make time to come, it'll be good ;) and then there's always breakfast and lotsa 'loving fellowship' later. ;) . So do come. Be a part of this healthy lifestyle - start your morning with God, prayer, a good sumptious breakfast and happy people :) see you tuesday!.

3) Bible Study
the Bible is God's manual for us, for this thing called 'life'. If you're interested to dig in deeper - to know more.. to understand better - to see the Words come to life - then start thinking about Bible study. it's be fun - and you'll be amazed how much you grow.

4) National Conference for Integrity
16th July 2005. Sunway Convention Centre.
Sign up in our next meeting. (more details would be up soon)

ahh. it's already the 3rd day into the trimester. How's everyone feeling? A tad bit hard to get used to classes again after the extended 2months break, aye? i'm sooo feeling it. *inertia, sheesh*

It's that time of the semester again when you're having trouble figuring out what is it that you really signed up for in classes.. new assignment groups are being formed, semester-long evaluation procedures are being explained to you, the usual warning of 75% attendance or else.. and of course lecturers breathing down your neck for you to get the necessary and READ : 'compulsory' text books. Which is what this post actually is for. TEXT-BOOKS. a necessary evil ;)

This calls for a mini 2nd hand bookstore right here at cfmmu.blogspot.com - your friendly neighbourhood online community ;) So if you're planning to sell or buy 2ndhand textbooks, fret no more. this here will be your one-stop 2nd hand book outlet ;). CF Trimester 1, 2005/06 # 0.5

phew~! so yesterday's Chill-Out CF get-together thing wuz a blast ;)

We really started off with a bang.

By about 8.15pm, BR1023 was already full to the brim. We even had to add chairs later on! Emcees Joshua and Celine energetically welcomed evryone with smiles and a whole lotta lovin.;). We had a sing-song session led by JiaWern and his team of merry musicians. After that it was CheeKah and CheeYong's turn to make the crowd go wild with their ABC game. Many things were discovered then, including what we used to do in malacca/cyber/wherever else we came from, and also some useful notes from certain married and happily dating couples. *sumthin bout a wild stallion and a pony*heh*

We also had a stunning dance performance by our lovely ladies Charis, Rachel, Leona and Esther. "these are extreeeeemmee, extreeme days" *beebop bee bop*. A song about love by our CCF mates Chang Shen and Chee Meng followed after that along with a beautiful Chinese number sung by a girl with the sweetest voice. Later on we watched a MadTV version of Jesus, but this time with his 'protector', ' The Terminator'. Punch line : "He'll be back."

The night ended with a Juwita Suwito number by Audrey.
In closing, Joshua & Celine thanked everyone for coming.. and invited all to stay back and get to know each other better. Light food and drinks were served.

All in all it was a good night. Many new friendships were made and it was a good introduction of the CF to those that were new. We hope to see all our new made friends, and also their friends next Tuesday for more CF-fun ;)
