Until We Meet Again
We were given these maps
From which we can not stray
They lead us through life
Ours criss cross along the way
I look back on my journey
The times we walked together
Holding hands as lovers
Hoping it would last forever
One day we came to a mountain
Your path going the other way
A short goodbye, I love you
All we were allowed to say
Quietly with a tear I watch
You walk down that narrow path
Not allowed to come after you
And you're unable to look back
Hope I gave you enough love
To get you safely to the end
I will keep the rest locked up
