Last week during CF, Ps Christopher Rao split us into groups of approx. 6 and asked us to discuss on the question "Obstacle when sharing God to a non-Christian". Personally, i like it when we were in smaller groups where we could really interact and get to know each other's struggles and even encourage each other.
By identifying these obstacles, let us not use them as excuses for ourselves but beyond that, let's look at God, our strength and hope.
We then looked into the Word from Exodus 8:21-23, 33:15-16 and Leviticus 11:44...
The Israelite failed at not wanting to be distinguished from the rest of the world, they did not want to be special. From here, let us learn not to fall from that mistake, and call it "humility", instead, really to take up God's offer for us, to be the chosen generation, the royal priesthood!
God spoke us into being, something that Ps Christopher shared that encouraged me is about the illustration about the vibrating atoms in all materials, and He mentioned that could have been the Voice of God.
I was encouraged because i understand that vibrations causes sound to be heard, and vice versa, a sound transmitted causes vibration too... What i really liked is that every single particle/molecule whether solid, liquid or even air is vibrating, and STILL vibrating. That's just mind blowing, though there's no biblical prove or whatsoever regarding this matter, but this really gets me to trust in this Living God even more!
Next, we learned about us, created in His image from Genesis 1:26. Created like Him, we have emotional capacity, have character, and personality, these are all displayed all over our body, spirit, and soul.
Along with that, we also learned about the freewill given to us. In Gen 2:9, 16-17, God gave us (mankind) a choice, to choose from the Tree of Life and from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Because God loves us so much, He respects our decisions, and let us choose wisely shall we?
We were reminded of how important a relationship with God really is. We then looked at the Lord's Prayer, and Ps Christopher pointed out what God's will is... "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done" ... and that, is the will of God, to see heaven invade earth. To see His Kingdom come. Let us participate and co-labor with God :D
After all, aren't we all adopted into His family, and called as His child?
:)
With such an awesome Creator as my personal Lord and Saviour, i'm secured.
