Selamat Hari Raya to all our Muslim friends. :) Remember to wish your friends!!

Since it's Hari Raya Aidilfitri, we had no weekly CF meeting on Tuesday this week. TGIF prayer this week is also not on, but we can continue to fast and pray for our country.

On 31 August, we will be celebrating our 55th Independence Day. So in conjunction with that, we will be having MERDEKA related activities next week in CF. Come and join us. We love Malaysia!!

Also, sorry to inform everyone that the call2action workshop which is supposed to be on this Saturday (25/8) is postponed. Will further update you guys.

In case you do not what call2action workshop is about, it actually aims to:
1. address fundamentals of social contract
2. survey the notion of Failed States, look hard at ourselves and how we are faring
3. analyse our existing political process
4. understand the gulf between talk of "high income nation" and the reality on the ground
5. trace today's increasing polarisation within our country
6. solicit the Power of One

Strongly encourage you peeps to attend this informative workshop by Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia (SABM). Dont know what social contract, Failed States etc are? You can start reading up related information starting now to get a better grasp of these terms. Let's play our part as a Malaysian. =)

Hello~~ It's week 10 of the semester already!! And this week we are going to have something fun. Hmm.. an inter CG trivia night + GAMES!!

Do you know who your CG leader is? Do you know who your CG members are? (Y) if you do. But if you don't, it's OK! Here you go. :)

Or, if you don't know which CG you are in, don't worry, you are still welcome!

It's good to discover more about each other to build real relationships. We really want to build that with each other as a CG, as a CF and also as a family of God. So see you at the usual time, at the usual place!!

How He Saves

Hello peeps. Guess many of you watched the Olympic badminton match between Datuk Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan, right? He didn't win the gold medal but...

"Champions are made in a second, heroes last a lifetime." 

Yes, he is the hero of our country. Good game. Malaysia Boleh!!

What about our real hero Jesus Christ? The One who shed his blood for our sins, the One who set us free from bondage, the One who saved us to fulfill God's will. Such amazing grace. :')

On Tuesday, we will have a speaker to talk about how the death of Jesus can save us, and the significance of Jesus' death and resurrection. We may have known or heard about this before, but learning God's reality is an ongoing process. So see you in CF.
